Dear people of Karimnagar!

 

My father Velichala Jagapathi Rao wanted to make Karimnagar parliamentary constituency a model in the country in all fields. This was Velichala Jagapati Rao's wish and hope. In his long political career, he was a flawless leader and developed Karimnagar to the greatest extent possible by him. I request you to bless me in the upcoming elections as his political successor to carry forward the aspirations of that great man.

 

I am coming to you from a family that is free from corruption, lies, stains, and jealousy. I was born here in the Mission Hospital and grew up as one of you. Tomorrow I will die on this soil knowing its my place. This personal manifesto reflects my love for the people of Karimnagar Parliamentary Constituency.

 

You have already given a chance to BRS and BJP, experience their governance and rule.I humbly request that if you all give me a chance, I will show you what real development looks like.

 

An incredible dream is within sight, to make it come true, I swear in front of all of you that I will perform this most sacred work with the utmost loyalty and undertake all the tasks with unrelenting efficiency to make the dream of my father, Velichala Jagapathi Rao to take Karimnagar to the highest level and keep it at the pinnacle.

 

I will beautify Karimnagar with lights of progress.

 

I humbly request everyone with folded hands to support me to perform this grand effort and fulfil the wish of my father Velichala Jagapathi Rao and bring his soul to rest. 

 

He used to always used to tell me "Family is not your wife and children, come - all the people of Karimnagar are our family. He used to say that we should always be with them and they should always be with us, this is the divine decree - this is the reality. That's why you all are my soul mates... my living Gods.

 

I don't care about money. I am happy with what God has given me. All the people of Karimnagar know that our family had 100 acres of land in Karimnagar town itself. But today it has been cut down to 5 acres, you all can understand why. We survived without

a single stain of corruption. Then, now, and always.

 

When I contested from Chhoppadandi as an MLA, you supported me by giving me 30 thousand votes. When I contested for Parliament from Praja Rajyam, you gave me close to 2 lakh votes and showed your love for me and my family. Twice I should have been here in your midst and shared my ups and downs with you, but I confined myself to Hyderabad because of my duty to my family and children for which I apologise to you. No duty is bigger than the duty of the people. My family and I realise this but also deeply regret that we haven’t been more with you.
